how do mortgages work?
im looking to buy a home in tennessee. but i know that i will need a mortgage. can you tell me if it would even be possible for me to get a mortgage or what i would need to get one? i am only 18, so i have absolutely no credit history, i have a duplex in wisconsin that i own and rent out which gives me an extra $850/month income, the duplex is valued at about $110,000 which i own and is all payed off. i have about $15,000 in value in cars, but only about $10,000 cash. i also have a job, but only make about 800-1000$ monthly. could you please tell me if i could ever get a mortgage?
yes you can. they can even bridge loan your owned duplex and suck the money out of that to pay in full for the home. call a mortgage broker dont go to your bank. Mortgage brokers will get you the best deal and have access to more loan programs. get a reputable broker, get a referral from someone you know and trust, them get a realtor. they will preapprove you since you have other assets
