The declaration of housing segments are as follows: Northeast includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, including South-East of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, the Gulf Coast, including Florida and Texas, including Middle Western Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, including southwestern Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico and the region West includes California, Oregon, Washington.
In February 2009, Pulte Homes was recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and BASF to build more homes to qualify for the challenge manufacturers in 2008. In August 2009, Pulte Homes has completed its merger agreement with Centex Corporation.
